Lab Belajar Ibu (LBI), which in Bahasa Indonesia means Mother’s Learning Laboratory, is a non-profit organization for women scholars in Indonesia, specifically mothers. Our community strives to become a haven for mothers going through distinct role transitions and those relocating back home. Lab Belajar Ibu was established in 2021 and officially registered in 2022 as a non-profit organization under the Republic of Indonesia law as Komunitas Ibu Pembelajar Bahagia.
LBI was initiated by LPDP awardees (a scholarship program funded by the Indonesian government) who have taken prominent domestic roles yet were searching for a way to contribute and apply their knowledge to society.
LBI’s primary purpose is to encourage mothers, regardless of their role as stay-at-home moms or working moms, to continue to work and dedicate their expertise and capabilities to their country.
Our Vision
To become a significant community for content and confident mother scholars in Indonesia.
Our Mission
To become a place for mothers, especially LPDP scholars, to share their knowledge and expertise. Moreover, a place for them to learn from one another, regardless of their background or profession.
